McPherson founded ARR Publishing in 2026 after deciding she wanted to get her books out into the world in a more sustainable and ethical way than by relying on big corporations like Amazon, and hopes to help other self-publishing authors achieve the same. Self-publishing shouldn’t only be a way for unethical companies to exploit authors, earning more than the authors who created the stories.

McPherson is also a proud mom to an incredible little dude and cherishes her downtime with her husband. She enjoys sipping on decaf coffee (caffeine makes her think an earthquake is happening) and has a passion for creating art and building things with her own hands. As a Marketing Director in finance, she’s found a work-life balance that she believes everyone deserves.

She’s deeply interested in sustainability, budgeting, and environmental sciences, and loves immersing herself in non-fiction, especially documentaries on simplicity, finance, history, and the paranormal. At her core, she believes in everyone’s right to succeed without struggle. She’s passionate about exploring the complexities of good and evil, with a particular focus on mental health and anxiety in her writing. Over the past decade, she’s actively advocated for her beliefs amid the challenges facing America today.
